Snow Day Redux

I’m not writing much today. I’m sitting by the window, a cup of tea in hand, watching the snow fall. There’s noise from the bedrooms upstairs — footsteps from one room to another, quiet giggling. In a few moments they’ll be down demanding breakfast (yes) books (yes) television (no). It has been like winter in Narnia this year — never-ending. And yet I can’t help but be grateful for one more stolen day. I hope wherever you are, the day is good to you, too.Image

Lovely image (in spite of the length of this winter). Here’s to stolen days!

We had the dump this weekend. Over 280 accidents in my relatively small city. But! Sunshine today and near melting. It’s dazzling outside.

    Enjoy the day.

At least 12 inches here today, Jan, and still snowing. But it’s very pretty and we’re warm and safe inside.

It is like spring here today – fitting considering that it is winter’s last day. However, we are expecting snow this week. Boo. I’m at home today, dealing with an arthritis flare, and on the couch, kitties beside me, cold soda in hand, and the sound of birds singing outside. Hope your day is wonderful.

Thanks for stopping by, Melissa, and I hope your arthritis settles down. Maybe some warm spring weather would help…
