Jumping for Joy

One of us is not tired of winter.  One of us is still excited every time the door opens and the white stuff is glimpsed.  One of us cannot wait to run outside, to frolic and leap with boundless abandon.  One of us caused my son to do a perfect face plant in about three feet of snow.  (He came in, wiping his face.  “What happened?” I asked.  “I don’t want to tell you — you’ll laugh.”  He was right.)  One of us may be looking for a new home soon.

No he won’t, my daughters Rhodie mix knocked me down and blew out my knee but he lived on in perfect happiness for 10 more years. You’d all miss him too much!

What is it about the rrs inflicting bodily harm? Our old pup gave me a concussion once. So Harley has a bit more to live up to than just a face plant! : )

Great picture- should I be worried that that is what my boys look like when also getting a glimpse of the white stuff? Here in the midwest, we have not had the amount of snow that you have gotten back east, but are now bracing for a blizzard watch that could actually lead to 3 boys jumping for Harley Joy at the prospect of a much coveted, but rarely achieved, snow day.
